Job summary

Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Associate Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules for programs in the Weapons Systems segment. You will work cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to deliver schedules and report progress.

Responsibilities include IMS analysis, baselining, EV metrics, risk analysis, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience in scheduling within engineering development or manufacturing.
• Experience planning, developing, baselining and tracking schedules for DoD programs.
• Familiar with Primavera P6, MS Project, or Deltek OpenPlan.
• Knowledge of advanced scheduling methods and techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensure they accurately represent contractual scope, logic flow, and resources required to execute the program.
• Assist in the development of program baselines, including assigning resources within work-breakdown-structures, assigning earned value methods, and verification of contract budget baseline
• Coordinate with Financial Analysts and provide technical insight on Earned Value variance analysis to assist CAMs in baseline variance reporting
• Resolve schedule issues efficiently through root cause analysis and teamwork
• Monitor and improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures
• Analyze operational health metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
