Job summary

Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA is seeking an Associate Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules for Weapons Systems programs. You will work with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations to shape schedules and report on progress.

The role emphasizes earned value management, baseline development, and collaboration with senior leaders to drive schedule performance. A Secret clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience in scheduling within an engineering development and/or manufacturing operation, or other similar experience.
• Experience with implementing, tracking and reporting schedule performance/Earned Value
• Ability to derive, interpret and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to Senior Leadership team
• Ability to develop and report on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA)
• Experience with supporting development of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and transitioning these into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills & ability to interface effectively across the organization.
• Possesses or has ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance

Responsibilities

• Analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensure they accurately represent contractual scope, logic flow, and resources required to execute the program.
• Assist in the development of program baselines, including assigning resources within work-breakdown-structures, assigning earned value methods, and verification of contract budget baseline
• Coordinate with Financial Analysts and provide technical insight on Earned Value variance analysis to assist CAMs in baseline variance reporting
• Resolve schedule issues efficiently through root cause analysis and teamwork
• Monitor and improve planning and scheduling processes and procedures
• Analyze operational health metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
