Job summary

The Capital Area Michigan Works! (CAMW!) Program Associate Manager at Peckham, Inc. in Lansing, MI oversees client services delivery and program compliance, manages participant caseloads, supervises staff, and ensures adherence to policies and contractual obligations.

This role requires coordinating with partner agencies, performing routine file reviews, and maintaining accurate data in required systems to support measurable participant outcomes and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of case management, workforce development, or career coaching experience.
• 6+ months of people leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; strong documentation skills.
• Ability to apply best practices in career counseling, guidance, and customer service.
• Ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to make informed decisions considering program needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage participant caseloads, referrals, eligibility, compliance, documentation, and policy adherence.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing staff training to support operations and compliance.
• Conduct routine file reviews to ensure staff documentation and service activities meet requirements.
• Coordinate with community partners to develop service plans and ensure coordination.
• Prepare responses on program performance and compliance for CAMW! and accountability committee.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and data entry in required systems.
• Compile enrollment, terminations, and program metrics for CAMW! and Peckham.
• Coordinate client services with internal CAMW! programs and external partners.
• Provide career counseling, coaching, and guidance to improve employability.
