Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking a Program Manager for a DHS contract in Washington, DC. This on-site leadership role requires an experienced professional to manage multiple projects and staff while ensuring all contract deliverables are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of PM experience, ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance, and a BA or higher in business; a Master’s degree or PMP is preferred. Telework arrangements may vary based on customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Ten years of project management or managerial experience required.
• Must manage performance to meet cost, schedule and deliverable requirements.
• Primary point of contact for CO/COR and oversee staffing, reports and deliverables.
• Top-Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation of departments to ensure programs meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Proactively minimize delays in delivery and communicate with customers to arrange meetings and discuss status.
• Recruiting and hiring for the project and staff management; communicate with staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure customers are regularly informed of program status and forecast potential delays; develop contingency plans.
• Participate in business development activities and ensure on-time delivery of all project deliverables.
