Job summary

The Building People, LLC, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager with a Top Secret Clearance to provide on-site construction, facility and project management services for a federal client across a range of small to large projects. Responsibilities include space upgrades or reconfiguration to meet mission needs.

Key duties include managing project portfolios, coordinating with GSA and A&E firms, budgeting, scheduling, and leading progress meetings while ensuring compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial/government facility construction project management experience
• Experience interfacing with GSA, A&E firms, building suppliers, and trades
• Understanding of construction methodology and scheduling
• Experience developing government project cost estimates and tracking funding
• Ability to develop project schedules in MS Project and/or Primavera P3-P6
• Ability to direct facility construction activities and lead progress meetings
• Experience on projects with a large percentage of systems furniture
• Must pass/obtain TOP SECRET clearance (SCI access possible)

• Oversee space acquisition, budgeting, scheduling, and cost management
• Oversee construction, space reconfiguration, and tenant outfitting
• Coordinate project administration, program management, logistics, and furniture
