Job summary

GBMC is seeking a Program Manager for the Simulation Innovation Learning Center to oversee all facets of simulation operations across the organization. The role requires coordinating best practices, managing resources, and driving educational initiatives to elevate staff competencies.

The candidate should bring extensive experience in clinical education, program evaluation, and leadership to foster high-quality simulation experiences and organizational capability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Healthcare or a related field is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.
• 4–8 years of direct experience with simulation programs; training in a simulation program may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget and make recommendations for capital and operating purchases to enhance simulation teaching.
• Select departmental staff and manage performance and development of assigned staff.
• Collaborate across the organization to meet needs for improved quality of patient care.
• Develop and evaluate simulation programs to meet staff learning needs.
• Deliver simulation education to key stakeholders.
• Pursue educational activities to broaden knowledge of simulation standards in clinical education.
• Ensure effective day-to-day operation of the SILC.
• Maintain security of lab and equipment; manage inventory and schedules.
