Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Program Manager for the Simulation Innovation Learning Center to oversee the center's operations, budgeting, and staff development. The role focuses on coordinating best practices in simulation across the GBMC Healthcare System, ensuring high-quality educational activities for staff and improved patient care.

The ideal candidate has an education in healthcare with 5+ years in clinical simulation settings and proven leadership.

Qualifications

Knowledge of simulation and adult educational theories to assess, plan, implement and evaluate quality simulation programs.
Analytic skills to develop and evaluate simulation programs and assess staff learning needs.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage and develop staff.
Experience with a variety of low and high fidelity simulation manikins.

Responsibilities

Manage budget and capital/operating purchases to enhance simulation teaching.
Select and develop departmental staff; oversee performance and development.
Collaborate across the organization to improve patient care through meaningful simulation activities.
Develop and evaluate simulation programs to meet staff learning needs via formal and informal platforms.
Ensure day-to-day operation of the SILC and secure lab equipment and assets.
