Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking a Program Manager to oversee Lucy's Hearth Permanent Supportive Housing operations in Middletown. You will manage daily activities, safety, client participation, and grant implementation while guiding staff and ensuring program quality across scattered-site housing in Newport County.

The role requires 2+ years supervising staff, experience with HMIS and databases, and knowledge of RI housing resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public administration, or closely related field.
At least 2 years of experience supervising staff.
Experience with HMIS systems, databases and administrative/office management preferred.
Knowledge of Rhode Island's affordable housing resources preferred.
Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by 6% above base pay.
Multilingual skills compensated by 8% above base pay.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of Lucy's Hearth's Permanent Supportive Housing program, including safety protocols, client participation, grant implementation, quality management, staff supervision, and program development.
Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and developers to maintain housing stability and effective landlord-tenant relationships.
Serve as a member of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care (CoC) and support community partnerships and housing initiatives.
