Position Summary: This position provides direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of Lucy's Hearth's Permanent Supportive Housing program, including safety protocols, client participation, grant implementation, quality management, staff supervision, and program development. The position is based in Middletown, RI and supports scattered-site apartments located throughout Newport County. The Program Manager collaborates directly with landlords, property managers, and developers to maintain housing stability and foster effective landlord-tenant relationships. An individual in this role is also required to serve as a member of the Rhode Island Continuum of Care (CoC) and support ongoing community partnerships and housing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health care administration, public administration or a closely related field of study (significant related work experience in lieu of a credential will be considered).
At least 2 years of experience in directly supervising staff.
Experience with HMIS systems, databases and administrative/office management responsibilities preferred.
Knowledge of Rhode Island’s affordable housing resources preferred.
Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
