Job summary

PayIt, a GovTech leader, seeks an experienced Program/PM to own end-to-end delivery for public-sector technology implementations. You will manage the program plan, schedule, governance, and testing from kickoff to go-live, coordinating internal teams, client stakeholders, and partner organizations.

You will drive multi-year projects with formal milestones, deliver security and data-migration plans, and produce status reports for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program or project management, including multi-year public-sector implementations with formal milestone approvals and change control.
• Experience delivering payments or financial technology programs, such as payment processing, transactions, payment data, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams or vendors, including integration and acceptance testing.
• Proficiency with scheduling and work-tracking tools. Working knowledge of data security and privacy requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, PII).
• Clear writing at a formal deliverable standard and comfort presenting to executive stakeholders.
• Able to pass a comprehensive background check including comprehensive identity verification, criminal history check, and counter-terrorism screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology implementations for public-sector clients, owning program plan, schedule, governance, deliverables, and testing from kickoff through go-live and steady-state operations.
• Own the master schedule and critical path, align with dependent teams and partners, and manage changes through formal approvals.
• Produce recurring status reports and run client governance cadence with agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Drive approval of required program plans (e.g., security, continuity, testing, data migration, transition), plus SOPs and training materials.
• Lead the test and acceptance lifecycle from integration through user acceptance and formal sign-off, owning defect tracking and resolution.
• Maintain release, change, and maintenance processes, including client communication for planned work.
• Deliver service-level reporting, lead root cause analysis for significant incidents, and track corrective actions to closure.
• Support business reviews and scope new client-requested work.
