Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and execution-focused Program Manager to join our NPI & Project Enablement organization supporting data center and liquid cooling programs in North America.
This role is responsible for managing customer-facing programs across prototype and solution readiness, deployment, installation and commissioning support, operational readiness, and ongoing service activities. The Program Manager will coordinate closely with customers, global headquarters, sales, engineering, supply chain, logistics, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), and third-party service providers to drive projects through successful execution and closure.
The role will also coordinate the development and introduction of selected products, accessories, and deployment-enablement solutions based on customer and field requirements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Program & Project Management
- Manage multiple customer programs and projects from initial planning through deployment, operational readiness, and closure.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, risks, dependencies, and status reports.
- Serve as a primary coordination point for assigned customers and projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional deliverables across customers, sales, engineering, supply chain, logistics, FAEs, and global teams.
- Lead internal and customer-facing meetings, drive action-item closure, and escalate critical schedule, technical, material, or resource risks.
- Maintain clear documentation of customer requirements, commitments, key decisions, scope changes, and open issues.
Deployment & Service Enablement
- Plan and coordinate prototype dry fits, site readiness, deployment, installation, commissioning support, and post-deployment service activities.
- Coordinate internal resources and approved third-party service providers for single-site and large-scale multi-site deployment and service activities.
- Manage deployment and service schedules, technician coordination, site access, materials, parts, tools, documentation, and execution readiness.
- Coordinate recurring service activities under assigned service agreements, SOWs, or SLAs, including preventive maintenance, filter replacement, inspections, and other scheduled maintenance activities.
- Monitor field execution, track onsite issues and follow-up actions, and coordinate technical escalation with FAEs or engineering as required.
- Collect and maintain service reports, maintenance records, service history, and upcoming maintenance requirements.
- Travel to customer sites as required for deployment coordination, product validation, installation support, and issue resolution.
Product & Solution Development Coordination
- Coordinate the development and introduction of selected products, accessories, tools, and deployment-enablement solutions from requirements through validation and release.
- Gather customer and field requirements and coordinate with engineering to translate them into actionable product requirements and development activities.
- Coordinate development schedules, prototypes, design reviews, validation, documentation, and release readiness.
- Support solutions such as portable coolant charging equipment, quick-disconnect (QD) adapters, hose assemblies, interface components, and other deployment or service tools.
- Capture field feedback and coordinate product improvements and future requirements with engineering and relevant stakeholders.
Process & Operational Improvement
- Maintain standardized project, deployment, and service-management tools, trackers, and reporting processes.
- Identify recurring execution gaps and drive practical process improvements.
- Capture lessons learned from deployments and service activities and incorporate them into future projects and operating processes.
- Improve communication and handoffs among North America teams, global headquarters, customers, and service resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in program management, project management, technical operations, product development, or a related customer-facing hardware role.
- Experience in electronics, data center, networking, industrial equipment, or a related technology industry.
- Experience managing multiple customer projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting hardware deployment, installation, operational support, or field-service activities.
- Experience coordinating external vendors, contractors, or third-party service providers.
- Strong customer communication, stakeholder-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage schedules, drive action items, and elevate issues appropriately.
- Ability to work effectively with global and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project or enterprise tracking systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%, including domestic and occasional international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data center infrastructure, liquid cooling, thermal management, HVAC, fluid systems, or industrial equipment.
- Experience managing multi-site hardware deployment, installation, or service programs.
- Experience administering preventive-maintenance programs, service agreements, or recurring field-service activities.
- Experience working with FAEs, field engineers, or other customer-facing technical teams.
- Experience coordinating development or introduction of hardware products, accessories, tools, or system-integration solutions.
- Experience working directly with enterprise, hyperscale, or other key-account customers.
- Mandarin Chinese communication skills are strongly preferred for coordination with global headquarters and manufacturing teams.
- MBA, engineering master’s degree, PMP, or other relevant advanced qualification is a plus.

For Pay Transparency-Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,000 - $115,000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
