Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support customer deployment and integration of liquid cooling solutions for data center applications. This role is primarily customer-facing and involves system installation, troubleshooting, and technical support for high-tech customers. Because our design architecture, upstream suppliers, and primary manufacturing hubs are located overseas, this position prefers full professional bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.

This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in lab and field environments, including handling equipment up to 30–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with high-tech customers to understand requirements and provide technical support
• Travel to customer sites and data centers to perform product demonstrations, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training to ensure successful deployment and optimal product performance.
• Address customer inquiries, and provide timely resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, communicating customer feedback, requirements, and improvement suggestions
• Diagnoses and resolve mechanical, thermal, and system-level issues
• Support system integration and performance validation
• Communicate technical findings through reports, presentations, and design reviews
• Provide technical input for RFQs and customer requirements
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide accurate and up-to-date technical guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or related field
• Because our design architecture, upstream suppliers, and primary manufacturing hubs are located overseas, this position prefers full professional bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proficiency in conducting product evaluations, testing, and analysis to provide technical recommendations and optimize product performance.
• Knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, and electrical systems to effectively integrate thermal solutions into customer applications.
• Familiarity with CAD software and thermal simulation tools to assist in product design and optimization
• Work in lab and field environments and handle equipment up to 30–40 lbs
• Experience with liquid cooling, thermal systems, or mechanical hardware
• Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills
• Ability to travel frequently to Client’s site and work in data center environments

For Pay Transparency-Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $100,000 - $135,000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
