Hippo Insurance seeks an Associate Program Manager to support underwriting operations for Partner Programs, coordinating with MGAs and internal teams to ensure compliance, documentation, and timely onboarding of new programs. This role builds underwriting judgment for evaluating MGA-written business and ensures audit-ready processes.

You will help with monthly reinsurer reporting, data compilation, and contract administration in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment in Morristown, NJ.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Property and Casualty insurance in underwriting, operations, or compliance-support.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with structured data (spreadsheets, reporting templates, filing systems).
• Ability to follow defined processes precisely while proactively flagging exceptions or discrepancies.
• Clear written communication for internal reporting and documentation.
• Exposure to program business, MGA relationships, or fronting structures is a plus.
• Familiarity with underwriting and/or reinsurance reporting concepts (bordereaux, treaty accounts) is a plus.
• Experience with contract management systems (e.g., Lexion) or underwriting/rating systems is a plus.

Aufgaben

• State filing and program onboarding: assist with state filing review and tracking across the VP's portfolio.
• Deal-terms accuracy: review deal-specific terms and documentation for accuracy ahead of sign-off.
• Renewal support: compile performance data, loss history, and program documentation for renewal planning.
• Strategic objective tracking: track program performance against CEO/leadership objectives.
• Reinsurer and treaty reporting: prepare monthly reporting packages for assigned programs.
• Account reconciliation: support reconciliation of balances due to/from MGA partners and reinsurers.
• Claims and IBNR reporting: compile claims and treaty reporting inputs for leadership review.
• Underwriting guideline and audit support: gather and organize underwriting guideline documentation.
• Audit findings tracking: log audit findings and remediation status.
• Contract administration: load signed reinsurance agreements into Lexion and maintain files.
• New business support: assist in gathering data on prospective MGA partners.
