Job summary

MSIG USA seeks a Program Manager in its Delegated Business Unit in New Jersey to oversee underwriting and profitable program management across the lifecycle, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external Administrators.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years of commercial lines underwriting experience, a degree preference, and CPCU coursework. Competitive benefits and a base pay range are offered.

• CPCU designation or other insurance-related coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial lines underwriting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with external Program Administrators to ensure programs comply with admitted market requirements.
• Conduct market research on proposed programs and industry trends to guide new program niches.
• Oversee program evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring throughout the lifecycle.
• Monitor underwriting activities to ensure adherence to delegated authority and pricing methods.
• Review and update program underwriting guidelines with Product Line Managers.
• Track profitability and production; adjust rates when necessary.
• Collaborate with Product Development to refine program coverage offerings.
• Support program audits and coordinate data with internal departments.
