Psynergy Programs in California seeks a Program Manager to lead residential and clinical treatment programs. The role involves organizing and evaluating group activities, reporting, and maintaining high standards of care in a residential setting.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, staff orientation, hiring, scheduling, and supervision, plus on-call support and administrator duties. A strong background in behavioral health and relevant certifications help you advance here.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus 2 years in a mental health setting is acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of mental health experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements program curriculum with psychoeducation and recreation services.
• Orients, trains and deploys residential staff to meet program goals.
• Hires, trains, schedules, monitors and disciplines program staff.
• Oversees activity providers to ensure timely and appropriate services.
• Provides on-call support at least 2 times per week.
• Acts as facility Administrator in Administrator’s absence.
• Monitors residents' behavior and documents observations for staff review.
• Assists with client crises and necessary follow-up using approved procedures.
• Completes clinical records and other required documentation.
• Offers regular reports on attendance, milestones and staff training.
• May provide rehabilitation and group services to clients.
• May assist with client needs coordinated by case managers and family.
