Job summary

Psynergy Programs seeks therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to provide supervised outpatient-level clinical services for individuals with severe mental illness in an enriched residential setting in Morgan Hill, CA. You will perform assessments, individual/family/group therapy, case management, crisis intervention, and linkage, within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include CA vaccination, BBS licensure, commitment to high service levels, and prior behavioral health or residential care

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised outpatient-level clinical services (assessments, individual, family and group therapy, including equine, case management, crisis intervention, and linkage)
• Work with a caseload of 25 clients as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct assessments at admission and as needed; develop effective treatment and behavioral plans
• Lead weekly clinical groups including equine; provide linkage and case management
• Support a therapeutic and welcoming outpatient clinic environment and share on-call duties with residential staff

About You

We are growing and seeking therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to provide supervised outpatient-level clinical services (i.e. assessments, individual, family and group therapy, including equine, case management, crisis intervention, and linkage) to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD) living in an enriched adult residential care facility.

To do this work successfully, you will need:

• Full Vaccination against COVID-19 - CA required.

• To be registered with the BBS (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) - required
• A commitment to providing the highest levels of service - required.

• Experience working in behavioral health or in residential care - preferred.

Your Responsibilities

Showing commitment to the use of best practice standards, Psynergy Therapists must be able to work with a diverse population of conserved and non-conserved individuals with co-occurring behavioral health and medical diagnoses as well as substance use disorders. Associate Therapists at Psynergy are part of a multidisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, licensed therapists, nurses, lead clinicians and rehabilitation counselors who work with California's most complex and chronic cases.

As clinician for a caseload of 25 clients, Psynergy therapists take pride in:

• Working in collaboration with 26 counties in CA (and counting!) providing specialty mental health services as part of California's behavioral health system of care
• Utilizing best practice standards including having a "whatever it takes" attitude and focus.
• Providing strengths-based services to a diverse population residing in one enriched residential community
• Conducting assessments upon admission and as needed
• Developing effective treatment and behavioral plans to achieve personal goals including reducing unnecessary hospitalizations.
• Performing regular risk assessments and safety planning
• Providing weekly and as-needed therapy to each client and families as needed
• Providing weekly clinical groups including equine
• Providing linkage and case management
• Providing clinical support and modeling to a professional and paraprofessional staff
• Helping maintain a therapeutic and welcoming outpatient clinic environment.
• Providing shared on-call support to the residential facility staff and clients
