Job summary

The NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS DELAWARE is seeking a Program Manager to lead statewide planning and oversight of mental health programs and community initiatives. You will support Crisis Intervention Team efforts, NAMI education and HelpLine activities, and supervise interns and volunteers within the Program Team.

You will collaborate with community partners, ensure accurate reporting, and help ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with our mission to improve the lives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or community outreach.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues and resources.
• Prior NAMI experience preferred.
• Must have MS Office skills and presentation ability.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance outreach and effectiveness.
• Manage program budgets and ensure funding compliance.
• Evaluate outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Lead training sessions and workshops for community education.
• Act as liaison between NAMI Delaware and external organizations.
• Support advocacy efforts to promote mental health legislation and policies.
• Coordinate meetings among team members and volunteers.
