Job summary

The NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS DELAWARE is seeking a Program Manager to lead statewide planning and oversight of mental health programs and community initiatives. You will support Crisis Intervention Team efforts, NAMI education and HelpLine activities, and supervise interns and volunteers within the Program Team.

You will collaborate with community partners, ensure accurate reporting, and help ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with our mission to improve the lives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or community outreach.
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues and resources.
  • Prior NAMI experience preferred.
  • Must have MS Office skills and presentation ability.
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

About the Role:

The Program Manager is a member of the Program Team and is responsible for the statewide planning, development, implementation, and quality oversight of NAMI Delaware’s mental health programs and community-based initiatives. This role advances NAMI Delaware’s mission to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions throughout Delaware. Key responsibilities include supporting program delivery for Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) efforts, NAMI education and support programs, and the HelpLine. The Program Manager also oversees interns and volunteers, cultivates relationships with community partners, maintains accurate program records and reporting, and helps ensure services are responsive, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and community service.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and needs.
