Texas A&M University Health Science Center seeks a Program Manager for Interprofessional Simulation Applications in Bryan. Qualifications

  • Education and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of working in higher education, particularly in health professions education, interprofessional education, or related experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications Graduate or professional degree in health-related field.
  • Health professions or interprofessional education experience in a higher education setting.
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and managing activities for small- and/or large-scale interprofessional simulations.
  • Experience in developing competency-based learning opportunities for health professions learners (students, faculty, staff, community partners, etc.).
  • Experience in managing/monitoring departmental budgets and contracts.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and goals for small- and large-scale interprofessional simulations.
  • Experience working on teams to ensure tasks are distributed effectively and appropriately to manage workload and meet goals.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and manages day-to-day activities for small- and large-scale interprofessional simulations.
  • Develops procedures and implements logistics for the administration of interprofessional simulations.
  • Assists with monitoring IPER budget and related contracts to ensure the budget is maintained.
  • Develops strategic plans and goals for interprofessional simulations.
  • Ensures vertical integration with IPE curriculum.
  • Develops and produces materials for IPER simulations.
  • Researches and prepares presentations with stakeholders and conferences.
  • Liaises with internal/external partners to promote excellence in program delivery.
