Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks a Manager of Simulation Education to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and academic guidance for the design, delivery, and evaluation of simulation-based education. You will supervise educators and staff, ensure effective use of simulation technologies, and align activities with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for simulation courses across multiple departments.
• Develop and oversee curricula implementation and yearly updates.
• Manage personnel: attendance, evaluations; recruit and train new hires.
• Assist with building courses, logistics, schedules, and data management.
• Operate EMS Simulation IQ system at an administrative level.
• Support development of business plans for the simulation center.
• Handle invoices and collections; coordinate with departments.
• Maintain accreditations and respond to renewals (ACS-AEI, SAGES FLS, FES, FUSE).
• Oversee equipment maintenance and purchasing for simulators and task trainers.
