Job summary

Direct Relief is seeking a Program Manager for the ReplenishRx initiative in Santa Barbara, CA. You will lead development and expansion of the program, ensuring clinics and charitable pharmacies have sustainable access to donated medications while maintaining compliance and robust audit standards.

Under the Regional Director, you will manage partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, support donor engagement, oversee enrollment, SOPs, and data-driven improvements, and coordinate with IT,

Qualifications

• Experience with Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs) and pharmaceutical access programs.
• Proven ability to lead program development and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• Experience working with healthcare providers, nonprofits, or pharmaceutical stakeholders preferred.
• Ability to operate as a self-starter, exercising sound judgment and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with compliance, audit processes, or regulated environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for pharmaceutical manufacturers and partners.
• Support donor outreach and program growth with Corporate Engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with clinics and charitable pharmacies.
• Lead development, refinement, and scaling of ReplenishRx.
• Monitor performance, partner feedback, and operational challenges to implement data-informed improvements.
• Ensure audit readiness and adherence across all partners.
• Oversee enrollment processes and SOPs; strengthen program guidelines.
• Coordinate with IT for enhanced reporting and data visibility.
• Manage program budgets, proposals, and spending.
• Establish and track performance metrics for program effectiveness.
• Support day-to-day operations in coordination with program staff.
