Job summary

Thurston County Public Health and Social Services is recruiting for an Affordable Housing Program Manager for the Affordable Housing & Homeless Response Division. The role oversees funding sources such as CDBG and HOME and coordinates with regional housing bodies.

The ideal candidate will have experience with elected officials, community stakeholders, and managing grant programs to address affordable housing challenges in the region, including emergency response duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elected officials and community stakeholders to implement programs.
• Experience in managing grant programs and reporting.
• Ability to develop strategies addressing housing challenges in the region.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff within the division.
• Administer funding sources including CDBG, HOME and other local housing funds.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Regional Housing Council and related boards.
• Engage in underwriting and development of contract documents for housing projects.
• Perform other duties including emergency response during public health events.
