Job summary

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) AES division seeks a Program Manager to oversee eligibility unit supervisors and provide coaching, program development, and monitoring of Access and Eligibility Services. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; sixty hours or degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with SNAP/Medicaid or related programs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage eligibility unit supervisors and coaches across offices and sites.
• Develop, implement and monitor Access and Eligibility Services programs.
• Prepare narrative and statistical reports on performance and staffing.
• Communicate with the public, regional management, and state staff to resolve issues.
• Travel up to 40% and supervise staff through mentoring and training.
