Job summary

Junior Achievement of Alabama is seeking a part-time Program Manager to lead the implementation and expansion of JA programs in Mobile and Baldwin County. You will recruit and train volunteers, support classroom teachers, and collaborate with the Program Director to plan events and initiatives.

The role involves building relationships with schools, managing schedules, and delivering sales-style presentations to secure program participation. Requires a Bachelor's degree and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or education or related field.
• Two years in business sales, marketing, nonprofit development, or volunteer recruitment/management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Superior project management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Occasional nights and weekends; occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program quantity and quality.
• Recruit and retain volunteers through renewals and company liaisons.
• Train and evaluate educators and volunteers.
• Coordinate placement and scheduling of trained volunteers.
• Maintain program records and registrations.
• Develop and deliver presentations to new districts and schools.
• Submit forecasts and interim reports to the Program Director.
• Support fundraising events and administrative tasks.
