Job summary

Junior Achievement of Chicago is seeking a Program Manager for the Chicago City Central Area. The role supports outreach to schools and community groups, trains volunteers, and moderates JA classes to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

Flexible scheduling and remote options are available; the position entails a 20-hour work week in a part-time capacity. The incumbent will collaborate with the Program Team, assist schools with JA delivery, and manage program reports and CRM data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of business experience preferred.
• Ability to organize volunteers and events.
• Comfort with virtual and in-person delivery.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Team on expansion of JA programs to include in-person and virtual delivery options.
• Assist schools to implement virtual JA programs, or teacher-led, in-person programs, whichever applicable to schools.
• Train and support program volunteers to deliver JA programs and learning experiences using a variety of delivery models and tools – in-person or virtual.
• Moderate program classes to ensure programs are delivered by volunteers / teachers with the utmost quality.
• Prepare accurate and current program reports.
• Update and maintain accurate information on program CRM system.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ad-hoc: assist Program Directors with school and volunteer recruitment and board committee support.
