Job summary

New York Power Authority (NYPA) seeks a commercial management and e-Mobility professional to develop and implement retention strategies, forge strategic relationships, and drive revenue opportunities in the electric transportation space.

The role emphasizes data analytics, budgeting, and coordination with engineering and service providers to deploy projects and maintain NYPA’s fast charging network. Requires a business or technical degree and 2+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business (economics, finance, marketing, etc.) or technical field (engineering or science) required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred.
• PMP or other similar project/program/product management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight and coordination of in-house and external resources for activities related to the departments function and goals.
• Support adherence to vendor service level agreements and maintenance schedules to ensure compliance.
• Assist with developing & managing Operations presentations, project funding requests, budgets, forecasts, and bid documents.
• Assist with evaluating bid proposals and making award recommendations.
• Partner with Engineering, Customers or Service Providers in developing/negotiating contract purchase/change orders, preparing invoices and coordinating site outages, coordinate quality testing/inspections.
• Support and contribute to all project documentation including drawings, technical specifications, assessment reports, asset and risk registry, budgets, forecasts, invoices, schedules, variances, etc.
• Perform occasional emergency response, including outside of normal business hours.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field

Minimum 2 years of related experience

PMP or other project management certification (plus)
