New York Power Authority (NYPA) seeks a Senior Technical Business Development Manager (Renewables) to lead performance modeling reviews and technical design reviews for renewable energy and energy storage projects, optimizing energy yield, reliability and financial performance.

You will support project origination and evaluation while collaborating across engineering, permitting, finance and external stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Environmental Science, Policy, Business, or related field.
• 3-4 sentence: Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years related experience including energy/consulting preferred.
• Strong modeling, analytical and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Lead performance modeling reviews and technical design reviews for renewables and energy storage.
• Evaluate interconnection planning, equipment selection and layout.
• Collaborate with engineering, permitting, finance and stakeholders to drive investments.
• Mentor and guide junior team members and manage project lifecycle.
