Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems seeks a full-time Program Manager based in Bridgeton, MO, with an option for in-person or hybrid work. You will lead the daily execution of contract requirements, coordinate schedules and budgets, and ensure cost, schedule, and performance goals are met for the Halvorsen overhaul contract.

You will communicate with internal and external customers, lead meetings, manage risk, and contribute to bid/proposal activities under senior management guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or relevant field and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to manage aerospace/defense programs as a prime or subcontractor to a domestic or foreign military organization
• Exposure to program lifecycle, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts
• Knowledge of program management tools and procedures
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Responsibilities

• Manage daily execution of contract requirements to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals
• Develop and implement plans and schedules for contracts and subcontracts
• Allocate and control budgets for labor, material, travel, and services
• Perform schedule and cost variance analyses
• Regularly report status to senior management
• Lead and coordinate meetings and teams from kick-off to close
• Drive risk assessment and mitigation throughout the program life cycle
• Collaborate with project teams on tasks and engineering changes
• Participate in bid and proposal activities and support negotiations
