Job summary

Kern Regional Center is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to supervise service coordinators and other staff across departments in Kern, Inyo and Mono counties. You will help plan and implement administrative and program policies to ensure high-quality client services through effective planning and staff oversight.

Responsibilities include supervising, training and evaluating personnel, overseeing case management practices and ensuring compliance with legal standards while providing resources

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or closely related field with four years of increasingly responsible experience.
• Bilingual language fluency (Spanish/English) highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, schedule, coordinate and evaluate Service Coordinators and other staff.
• Participate in planning and implementation of administrative and program policies.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality client services through effective staff oversight.
• Maintain cross-department communication and ensure policy compliance.
