Job summary

Sustainable Comfort, Inc. in Syracuse, NY seeks a Program Manager to lead the delivery of energy-auditing services for multifamily and affordable housing, blending workflow management with technical oversight.

You will coordinate staff, manage budgets, and serve as a primary client contact while ensuring QA, compliance with HUD/ASHRAE standards, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree as specified in the job description.
• 5+ years with multifamily building assessments or related energy-auditing services.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and teams.
• Familiarity with HUD LIHTC HCR HPD/HDC requirements is preferred.
• Experience coordinating or reviewing work of engineers, auditors, or project managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and refine program workflows, SOPs, and process maps.
• Coordinate project intake, staffing, fieldwork, reports, and client feedback.
• Forecast, plan resources, and scale programs across a portfolio of projects.
• Ensure QA/QC, templates, and standards across the assessment team.
• Lead client communications, proposals, and responses to reviews.
