Job summary

Sustainable Comfort is seeking a Program Manager to lead the delivery of energy audits, CNAs, PCAs/PNAs, and IPNAs for multifamily and affordable housing projects in the Northeast. The role blends workflow management, technical oversight, and client leadership to ensure accurate, on-time results.

The candidate will manage project intake through final delivery, supervise staff, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and support forecasting and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business administration, energy management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in multifamily building assessments, capital planning, energy auditing, building systems, engineering, architecture, or related due-diligence services, including experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience preparing or managing CNAs, PCAs/PNAs, IPNAs, and ASHRAE energy audits; Level III experience preferred.
• Experience with multifamily and affordable housing programs including HUD, LIHTC, HCR, HPD/HDC or comparable housing agencies.
• Experience coordinating or technically reviewing the work of assessors, engineers, architects, energy auditors, or project managers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and refine program workflows, SOPs, and process maps.
• Coordinate production of CNAs, PCAs/PNAs, IPNAs, and ASHRAE energy audits.
• Coordinate RFP responses, program design concepts, and new market opportunities.
• Review reports, cost estimates, and energy calculations for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Lead QA/QC procedures and staff coaching to drive continuous improvement.
