Job summary

Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a CE Program Manager to design and deliver short-term curricular offerings addressing business/community needs. You will develop non-credit programs, assess needs, market, and oversee instructors, delivery, evaluation, and staffing.

The role focuses on curriculum development in business, IT, management, and service with emphasis on recruiting and coordinating part-time instructors and ensuring strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three years experience in business, IT and/or education.
  • Technical knowledge in business, information technology, management and service.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train and retain a talented pool of part-time instructors.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

This CE Program Manager is a solution-oriented designer and provider of short-term curricular offerings that address the business and community needs for trained and certificate-eligible employees. This position is focused on developing non-credit programs and courses in business, information technology, management and service. Emphasis is on needs assessment and marketing as well as curricular development. Responsible for identifying instructors, program delivery and evaluation, and staffing.

Required Qualifications

Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary $62,900.00 - $78,700.00/Year
