This on-site, full-time role emphasizes independent ownership of end-to-end initiatives, building trusted relationships, and shaping how the team evolves. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in program management, strong systems thinking, and interest in AI safety talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in program management, consulting, talent, or a related field.
• Ability to own work from start to finish with supervision, and seek input on high-stakes decisions.
• Strong interpersonal judgment and ability to build trust quickly across a wide range of people.
• Think in systems while staying grounded in execution and details.
• Clear, warm communication with early-career fellows to senior researchers.
• Interest in AI safety and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Program & Event Design: conduct exploratory conversations with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify talent gaps, establish a theory of change, and design pilot programs; collaborate with coordinators to execute from start to finish.
• Partner Coordination: coordinate with field-building organizations on shared logistics and initiatives; surface placement opportunities.
• Talent Placement Support: aid fellows and other talent into full-time, contract, advisory, and project-based roles; facilitate warm introductions to hiring organizations.
• Systems & Process Improvement: manage operational systems, identify process gaps, and propose practical solutions; contribute to repeatable sourcing, assessment, and placement processes.
• Roles may evolve; focus is on clearly scoped and owned responsibilities rather than identical work for everyone.
