Job summary

Constellation Institute, based in Berkeley, CA, seeks a Program Coordinator on the Mobilization team to understand how people enter and grow in the AI safety ecosystem. You will identify talent gaps, help design and deliver programs, and collaborate with teams and partners to scale impact.

You'll start with a focused set of projects, then grow autonomy as you demonstrate results; this role suits someone curious about career transitions and building program management skills for AI safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in program coordination or nonprofit operations.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Asana or similar tools.
• Exposure to AI safety, ML research, or EA communities.

Responsibilities

• Support existing programs through preparation and execution.
• Design and iterate programs, identify talent gaps, and define pilots.
• Build and maintain operational systems, workflows and tracking tools.
• Gather feedback, surface patterns, and suggest experience improvements.
