Job summary

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a Program Manager 3 to join our Operations Division. You will report to the Director and lead a team of program staff, overseeing recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality client services.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating safety and security, managing payroll, and collaborating with external agencies to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months experience as agency program assistant or 2 years in human services with supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and oversee recruitment, interviewing and hiring.
• Coordinate training, evaluate staff and schedule activities.
• Ensure facility safety and security compliance and conduct on-site training.
• Prepare payroll information bi-weekly and manage staff actions.
• Monitor bed arrangements, meals, and medication documentation.
