Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Misty Residential Program, supervise DSPs, and ensure services align with ISPs and regulations. The role involves staff development, budget management, and collaboration with families and providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related human services field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of mental health direct care experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting adults with IDD and/or Behavioral Health diagnoses.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulations, RHD values, and program policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including electronic documentation systems, email, and data entry applications.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with state-minimum insurance coverage.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required background and employment screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
  • Manage staffing schedules, coverage, recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Misty Residential Program, supporting 12 individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with ISPs, treatment plans, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in treatment planning, interdisciplinary team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate communication between residents, families, case managers, funding sources, and community partners.
  • Respond to emergencies, crisis situations, and resident support needs.
  • Manage program budgets, expenditures, invoices, and consumer-related financial transactions.
  • Ensure documentation completion (progress notes, medication records, incident reports, assessments, inventories, logs).
  • Oversee facility safety, maintenance, vehicle monitoring, and program compliance.

What You'll Do

As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, medication records, incident reports, assessments, inventories, and daily logs.
  • Oversee facility safety, maintenance, vehicle monitoring, and overall program compliance.

Required

Preferred
  • Master's degree in a related human services field.
  • Experience working within residential mental health programs.
  • Knowledge of person-centered and recovery-oriented service delivery models.
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Primarily weekday schedule with flexibility to meet program needs
  • Participation in on-call support and emergency response as required
  • Occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be necessary to ensure program coverage
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel between program locations and community-based appointments as needed.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively engage with residents and staff throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to respond effectively during emergency or crisis situations.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
