Job summary
Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Bethlehem, PA. The role offers full-time hours with a base pay of $18.00 per hour and DailyPay available.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Basic computer and internet proficiency, including email, timekeeping systems, and electronic documentation platforms.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully complete all required employment screenings and clearances, including FBI clearance where applicable.
- Preferred: related degree in human services or social sciences, prior residential mental health experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's ISP and person-centered plan.
- Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
- Administer medications according to established policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments, community activities, and other necessary destinations.
- Support individuals with activities of daily living: meal preparation, personal hygiene, toileting, and household tasks.
- Assist individuals with accessing community resources and supports (medical appointments, social services, recreational opportunities, programs).
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and positive social interactions.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to implement support strategies and residential interventions.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, person-centered living environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will:
- Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and person-centered support plan.
- Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes.
- Administer medications according to established policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
