Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Team Lead for the Ardmore, PA area to supervise direct care staff, organize schedules, and coordinate care and medical appointments. The role emphasizes person-centered planning and program documentation to support individuals with behavioral health needs.

As part of the PICL and Renaissance Programs, you will mentor staff, maintain caseloads, and ensure compliance with policies while promoting recovery and independence for the individuals

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • Associate Degree and three (3) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to direct care staff.
  • Organize, schedule, and distribute work assignments among team members.
  • Maintain a direct service caseload and provide direct support services as needed.
  • Coordinate and oversee medical appointments, including attending appointments when necessary.
  • Communicate with medical providers regarding the health and wellness needs of individuals served.
  • Maintain positive relationships with family members, guardians, staff, and program leadership.
  • Participate in person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of support plans.
  • Coordinate training plans and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Monitor progress notes, daily documentation, and monthly reviews.
  • Communicate regularly with service coordinators and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Prepare and submit reports and required program documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

Required

Preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience working within behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, or community support programs
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Flexible schedule based on program needs
  • Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required
  • Local travel may be required to support individuals and attend appointments
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed
  • Ability to push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
