Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Team Lead for the PICL and Renaissance Programs in the Montgomery County area, PA. This full-time position pays $21.12 per hour with DailyPay available and offers benefits.

You will supervise direct care staff, organize assignments, and maintain a direct service caseload to support individuals and families in the community. The role emphasizes person-centered planning, coordination with medical providers, training oversight, and ongoing quality

Qualifications

  • CPRP Certification is required.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling, psychology, or related field; or an Associate Degree with 3 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to direct care staff.
  • Organize, schedule, and distribute work assignments among team members.
  • Maintain a direct service caseload and provide direct support services as needed.
  • Coordinate and oversee medical appointments, including attending when necessary.
  • Communicate with medical providers regarding health and wellness needs of individuals served.
  • Maintain positive relationships with family, guardians, staff, and program leadership.
  • Participate in person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of support plans.
  • Coordinate training plans and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Monitor progress notes, daily documentation, and monthly reviews.

What You'll Do

As a Team Lead, you will:

  • Provide first-line supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to direct care staff.

  • Coordinate and oversee medical appointments, including attending appointments when necessary.
  • Communicate with medical providers regarding the health and wellness needs of individuals served.
  • Maintain positive relationships with family members, guardians, staff, and program leadership.
  • Participate in person-centered planning meetings and ensure implementation of support plans.
  • Coordinate training plans and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Monitor progress notes, daily documentation, and monthly reviews.
  • Communicate regularly with service coordinators and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Prepare and submit reports and required program documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Required
  • Current Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) Certification
  • Valid Driver's License

In addition, one of the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field such as sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • Associate Degree and three (3) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
Preferred
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience working within behavioral health, psychiatric rehabilitation, or community support programs
Schedule
  • Full-Time
  • Flexible schedule based on program needs
  • Evening and weekend availability may occasionally be required
  • Local travel may be required to support individuals and attend appointments
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed
  • Ability to push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive movements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
