Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple complex project schedules for LIMS replacement.

  • Prepare biweekly status reports documenting activities and decisions.
  • Facilitate communications with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Job description

Please note that the Level of Effort (LOE) for this project is approximately 30 hours per week, with deliverables due every three weeks.

This role is hybrid and the candidate will need to be available to be on site. Onsite onboarding will be required for the first day. Hillsboro, OR.

Looking for an experienced Program Manager to support the Laboratory with the implementation of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). In addition to supporting the Senior Project Manager, this Program Manager will focus on: organizational change management, internal and external communications, team coordination, maintaining the decision log, and curating vendor feedback from team.

Tasks:

Project manage multiple complex and detailed project schedules.

  • Maintain project timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
  • Monitor and control projects to assure timely completion.
  • Advise on and elevate key risks and issues that impact the projects.
  • Collaborate with managers and advocate for resources to be allocated to the appropriate project tasks.
  • Respond to requests for information from LIMS vendor or members of the team.
  • Support applications for funding opportunities to support this project work.
  • Liaise with SE3 team and provide support.
  • Liaise with the team to support organizational change management and User Acceptance.
  • Coordinate with the team to project manage the User Acceptance testing effort for the LIMS Replacement Project.
  • Perform other IT Project Management duties, as assigned.
  • Write project status reports, every other week (biweekly), to document all activities performed, including (but not limited to):
  • Status on all activities listed in the bullets above.
  • Work on resource capacity reports to identify resources that are over-allocated and under-utilized.
  • Any ad hoc reports needed for management to make informed decisions.
  • Efforts on project planning and scheduling.
  • Updates to the project planner with new LIMS Subprojects based on input from laboratory management team.
  • Assistance provided to complete EIS project deliverables for the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Replacement Project and other related subprojects.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have skills and experience in:
  • Organization Change Management in a Laboratory or Clinical Care setting.
  • Project Management experience in a Laboratory or Clinical Care setting.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodologies.

Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams. Interview times will reflect Pacific Standard Time.
