Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the PORTS program, delivering simulation-based training systems for the US Surface Navy. You will partners with the Program Manager, Navy customers and your project team to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, at least five years of management experience (P&L), and solid MS Office skills; travel up to 10% is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Be familiar with software development projects.
• Have solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
