Serco Inc. in Middletown, RI, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the PORTS program supporting Navy training systems. You will coordinate with the Program Manager, customer, and project team to deliver quality products on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of management experience, and strong MS Office and project-management skills; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiarity with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
