Job summary

JCC Association is seeking a Program Associate to support JWB Jewish Chaplains Council initiatives and the military community. The role collaborates with JWB staff, Military Lay Leaders, and JCC professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate programs that strengthen Jewish life in the military community and expand JWB's reach.

The position focuses on program management, communications, partnership development, and organizational operations, with hybrid NYC office work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in nonprofit program management, Jewish communal service, or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience developing communications content across platforms and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Supports planning, implementation, and advancement of signature initiatives.
• Coordinates timelines, deliverables, participant communications, and reporting.
• Monitors outcomes and analyzes data to evaluate effectiveness.
• Develops programs and opportunities to strengthen the Lay Leader network.
• Supports recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement of Lay Leaders.
• Assists in communications and storytelling across newsletters, social media, and website.
• Collaborates with Marketing and Communications on shared priorities.
• Represents JWB professionally in meetings and events; expands awareness through partnerships.
