Job summary

Repair the World Bay Area seeks a Senior Program Associate to support planning and facilitation of meaningful Jewish service learning programs for young adults and the broader Bay Area. The role includes leading Repair’s Service Corps, coordinating with partners, and expanding program offerings with community impact.

The successful candidate will be an aspiring experiential Jewish educator, a community builder, and a skilled facilitator who can engage with volunteers, partners, and learners

Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating Jewish learning and/or service experiences for youth, families, or adults.
  • Ability to plan and execute community programs from concept to implementation.
  • Comfort using standard technology tools (Email, G-Suite, etc.) and learning new systems (Salesforce, Monday, Slack, etc.)
  • Strong communication, organization and self-management skills.
  • Flexible Schedule: Availability to facilitate evening and weekend programs based on partner/participant needs.
  • Live and work in the Bay Area and engage with the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and oversee operations of 3-4 cohorts of Corps Members per year.
  • Identify, build, and sustain relationships with local Jewish organizations and service partners.
  • Coordinate and facilitate learning for Corps Members about local social issues and Jewish values.
  • Implement a robust and strategic programming calendar with service opportunities.
  • Plan and execute multiple Jewish service learning programs monthly.
  • Connect with service partners and prepare supplies; facilitate learning and reflection.
