Job summary

JCC Association of North America is seeking a Program Manager for JCC Maccabi in New York. The role provides high-level administrative, operational, programmatic and organizational support to the JCC Maccabi program, reporting to the Program Director.

The candidate will lead trainings for Delegation Heads and coaches, coordinate mentorship programs, and develop partnerships while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills with great attention to detail
• Flexible, detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRMs/databases, survey software, social media platforms, and basic website design tools
• Travel up to 15–20 percent of the time
• Entrepreneurial spirit and make-it-happen attitude
• Maturity, adaptability and initiative
• Sports-minded and service-focused with mission passion
• College graduate
• Two or more years of professional experience
• Nonprofit involvement and/or North American Jewish community experience; JCC Maccabi/JCCs a plus
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization

Responsibilities

• Provide program support to ensure strong delegations and goals
• Design, manage and deliver DH and coach trainings, webinars and resources
• Coordinate the Delegation Head Mentor/Mentee Program
• Support Program Director in collaborations and partnerships
• Develop new program initiatives (e.g., Jr. Maccabi, alumni engagement)
• Develop and deliver curriculum for Teen International Leadership Board
• Create program surveys and evaluation strategy
• Collaborate across JCC Association departments
• Lead and manage logistics for registration, travel, uniforms and swag as needed
• Provide on-the-ground support during JCC Maccabi events
• Interact with host communities, heads, coaches, staff, parents and athletes to ensure safety and a positive experience
• Oversee smooth operation of the J-Team when needed
