Job summary

Paul Angell Foundation seeks a Manager of Program Initiatives to coordinate and execute projects across the Programs Department. This role supports the VP of Programs, translates priorities into actionable plans, and helps advance organizational goals through structured processes and effective communication.

The position is hybrid, involves cross-team collaboration, and requires strong project management, planning, and change management skills to navigate growth and change within the foundation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management, program management, nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, or related fields.
• Experience managing complex projects from planning through implementation with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting teams through growth and change, implementing new processes or structures.
• Experience translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and processes.
• Experience developing presentations, project plans, and briefing materials for senior audiences.
• Experience in philanthropy or nonprofit environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage key projects and processes in support of VP of Programs from planning through implementation.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and tracking systems.
• Coordinate cross-program initiatives with multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Translate priorities into clear action items, responsibilities, and timelines.
• Identify risks and dependencies and work with partners to address them.
• Coordinate department meetings, agendas, and follow-up.
• Prepare materials to support leadership decisions and board planning.
