Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Document Control Specialist for our Program Management team to support major capital projects. The role requires at least 5 years’ experience in document control and strong teamwork.

You will manage document control systems, migrate documents between systems, prepare status reports, ensure metadata accuracy, and support client and vendor documentation while observing retention policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in document control or similar role.
• Experience with document control software (Newforma, Procore, Unifier, ProjectWise).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain document control processes and procedures.
• Support and use electronic systems to store documents and track communications.
• Migrate documents between document management systems with internal/external stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and ensure metadata accuracy.
• Review documents for production standards and completeness.
• Maintain and improve document control systems and processes.
