Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Program Director to oversee the Columbia Program in Columbia, SC. The role includes administration, participant services, staff leadership, and budget management.

You will supervise intake, develop wraparound plans, ensure contract compliance, and drive service quality while supporting growth and community partnerships. Some evenings may be required; transportation is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required with relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Some understanding of insurance, and third-party billing is helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Some evenings may be required, flexible schedule.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the intake process including interviewing referrals and appropriate family members along with referring authority staff.
• Develop and implement wraparound plans that meet individual needs.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure staff implements goals and revisions.
• Identify, recruit, hire, train, monitor, and supervise all direct service and administrative staff.
• Provide staff development and cross-training.
• Conduct staff meetings and training; participate in regional meetings.
• Assist staff in problem solving and securing resources for participants and families.
• Ensure timely submission of administrative, fiscal, billing, and reporting documents.
• Manage the local program within budget and seek growth opportunities.
