Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks a Program Director for the Washington DC program to oversee participant services, staffing, and budget oversight. The role emphasizes strength-based wraparound care, compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements.

Key duties include intake, assessment, service planning, staff development, reporting, and collaboration with community partners. Travel to homes and schools is required; Master’s or relevant Bachelor’s degree with experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• At least 1 year with staff and budget management
• Bilingual ability a plus, e.g., Spanish

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessment, and service planning with participants, families, and referral sources
• Ensure strength-based, wraparound service planning and implementation
• Monitor service delivery for alignment with goals and contractual obligations
• Ensure services are authorized/re-authorized by referring authorities or payors
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and supervision
• Provide ongoing staff development and cross-training
• Lead regular staff meetings and drive quality improvement
• Maintain readiness for audits and compliance reviews
• Manage program budget and fiscal responsibilities
• Cultivate partnerships with community resources and stakeholders
