Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in Camden County, NJ is seeking a Program Director to oversee participant services, personnel, and budgets within a wraparound, strength-based framework.

The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in community-based services. Travel to communities served will be required; a driver’s license and reliable transport are necessary.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field is preferred (or equivalent combo of education and experience).
• Bachelor's degree with commensurate experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of experience managing staff and budgets.
• Experience in community-based programming or human services is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EHR experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessment, and service planning processes with participants, families, and referral sources.
• Ensure development and implementation of strength-based wraparound plans.
• Monitor service delivery to meet participant goals and contractual obligations.
• Authorize services with referring authorities or third-party payors.
• Ensure staff meet qualifications and provide ongoing training and supervision.
• Lead staff meetings and promote a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Oversee discharge planning and sustainable community linkages.
• Maintain documentation, reports, billing, and data entry on time and accurately.
• Manage program within budget and monitor expenditures.
